4th Zing Electrochemistry Conference 2015

This webpage is for a conference which has already taken place and is for informational purposes only.
Maintainence is not ongoing for this page and most Links have been disabled.
To view a full list of our upcoming conferences please use the following link

The themes of the conference are Energy, Nanomaterials, Corrosion, Bioelectrochemistry and Novel Methodologies. These simultaneously represent the intellectual frontiers of electrochemistry and – through their application – issues of global societal importance. The conference will include these themes individually and synergistically, for example the role of novel methodologies in addressing bioelectrochemical phenomena and characterizing nanomaterials and the significance of corrosion processes in technologies for grid scale energy generation and storage. Contributions are invited in each of these themes, interpreted broadly to permit inclusion of the most novel contributions.

The Venue

Carvoeiro, Algarve. Portugal.

19th April – 22nd April 2015

In the picturesque town of Carvoeiro, where the sea has carved endless, intriguing little bays into the cliffs, stands a unique 4 star hotel in the Algarve, an idyllic location to serve as a conference host.

With a privileged location on the cliff top overlooking Vale Covo and with the excellent cuisine served in the restaurants, the Tivoli Carvoeiro promise to satisfy even the most demanding of palates. At the end of the day, the lounge bars provides the perfect setting to continue the discussions over a drink in relaxed surroundings.

The Tivoli Carvoeiro is located in the picturesque village of Carvoeiro, just a 10 minute walk from the town centre and is approximately 54 Km from Faro International Airport.
