Synopsis Electrochemistry plays a central role in energy conversion and storage, environmental protection, new materials technologies, environmental and medical sensing, analysis, green chemistry and many other areas. At the same time fundamental advances in our understanding of electrochemical processes open up new opportunities for basic science and novel applications.

This conference will focus on modern aspects of Electrochemistry and their applications, and aims to showcase both the breadth and depth of modern Electrochemistry.

The meeting builds on two previous highly successful conferences in this series and continues the unique flavour of those meetings.

Plenary and Invited lectures from distinguished investigators are key features of the conference with ample time provided for extended discussion of the contributions. These lecturers have been carefully chosen to highlight new developments in the field of Electrochemistry. Lecture slots will remain available for presentations from contributed abstracts, and there will be a poster session for delegates who want to present their latest results in poster format. The participation of younger scientists is particularly encouraged and the meeting will provide ample opportunity for participation in scientific discussions in an informal, attractive and relaxed environment.
