| Synopsis |
Solid State chemistry is a broad and always evolving field that includes researchers whose specialties range over wide backgrounds, from traditional inorganic chemistry through materials science and materials physics. In all instances, determining the relationships between the properties of solids and their chemistry and structures at different length scales is the key to making progress in understanding what are often complex physical and chemical systems. This conference will focus on different ways in which structure-property relationships are developed in solid state chemistry, highlighted by plenary talks from some of the dynamic, international leaders in our field. The conference will be stimulating for experts, graduate students, and any other interested parties who want to learn about state-of-the art research and thinking in this area. |
